We anticipate limited terrain for training and we are thinking it might not be the best of conditions to try out your brand new skis.
There will be no gate training, this weekend. It is going to be back to core and important basics – drills, balance, stance, turns…. You can leave your armor and jaw guard at home. Yes, you do need your helmet.
Please bring a healthy dose of patience with you, it’s possible it will be crowded; mix the crowds with limited terrain and well, I think you’ll get the idea.
Always remember to ski responsibly and in control.
Racers should meet in the “Mixing Bowl”, at the tower mounted yellow snowmaker between the base of the Easy Rider Quad and the Whitetail Express.
If you’ve not updated your USSA membership, now is the time to do it. A current USSA and PARA Alpine membership is a prerequisite for participating in training. Our team is listed as Whitetail Ski Ed Foundation in the USSA directory and your registration needs to show an affiliation with our club.
We still plan to have our “Meet & Greet” on Sunday after practices; we will send a separate email on that one with location and details.
If you're a participant in the program for this season had have been been receiving communications via email please reach out to us directly and we will correct the distribution list.
See you on Saturday,
Dan & Jan
