So you're ready to become a member...what do you have to do?
As Whitetail parent Scott Broom so correctly noted, there is a lot of paperwork in ski racing, and it is not a team activity.
You'll need to fill out the following forms and mail them to

Mercersburg PA 17236

You'll need to become a member of USSA by filling out this form and mailing to USSA in Park City, Utah. Download Application
If your racer will be competing in ANY USSA/PARA races, either the Whitetail GS or the races at Liberty, Roundtop, or Tussey then PARA membership is required. Complete the PARA membership application and return it with payment to Neil Randal (address is on the application). When filling out the PARA membership application, your PARA Region is "CENTRAL" and if you have not received your USSA membership, enter “pending” for the USSA number.
For each racer per race you'll need to fill out in duplicate the following form and mail to the race secretary or admin as listed on the PARA website. Make sure you follow the registration rules specified as they can vary per location.
There is a wealth of information on paperwork tips (particularly registering for races) in the FAQ section. Race registrations should generally be sent in at least one week prior to the race. Last minute registration is rarely/almost never possible. I recommend keeping a copy of your registration materials, and if the race is important consider using a time-guaranteed delivery type service such as UPS, FedEx or USPS priority.
Please direct paperwork questions to Dan or Ian. Their contact information is listed on the Coaches page.
