Weekend 2, Training Continues

December 17, 2010

Greetings Racing Families

We had a great first weekend at Whitetail, with fantastic snow on on Saturday and very light crowds on Sunday.  Ok, yes, it was a little damp, but if it had been race day you can be sure that little bit of weather would not have slowed the schedule at all.

We're training this weekend at Whitetail, normal times on Saturday and Sunday
Sr Team loading the lift at 8:30
Jr Team loading the lift at 9:00

Weekend 1, Training Starts

December 10, 2010

Greetings Racers and Families,

We're off to a great start for the season,  Whitetail opened today with 10 trail and service to the top of the mountain.

We're training this weekend with practices on Saturday and Sunday.  Bring your  slalom skis, if you have a choice, and don't forget your helmet.  We won't be running any gates yet, but we'll be skiing a lot.

For Saturday we're doing to delay the practice starting times by one hour, so the Sr Team will meet at 9:30a and the Jr Team at 10:00a in the mixing bowl.  If you've already gotten your season pass and all your equipment is ready then take some warm up runs before practice starts.
